Alano Homestay on Mayi Island
Alano Homestay on Mayi Island is located on Mayi Island in the Bohai Bay, Jinzhou District, Dalian. It has convenient transportation to the main urban area of Dalian, the airport, the seaport, and the railway station, and can be reached within 1 hour. Here, the ecological environment is excellent, the scenery is naturally beautiful, the water quality is good all year round, and the air is rich in negative oxygen ions. The golden sand and green forests on the island set off each other, and the reefs and strange rocks are scattered in an orderly manner. Every summer, tourists can experience personalized services such as beach combing, sea fishing, paddle-boarding, and sailing training here. At the same time, they can also enjoy seafood feasts such as wild sea cucumbers and red-shelled crabs, which are specialties of Mayi Island.
The name "Alano" is borrowed from a literary work. I am of noble birth, but unfortunately abandoned and forgotten. However, I am kind-hearted and have inner beauty. I am willing to offer my beauty to bring peace and happiness to the world.
Alano Homestay is renovated from the idle houses of original island fishermen. The exterior of the homestay retains the original features of the fishing houses. The walls are built with sea rocks and blue stones. With white walls, black tiles, green bamboos, vines, and a secluded courtyard, the old banyan tree at the village entrance greets and sees off guests along the embankment, giving people a sense of warmth, peace, simplicity, and elegance.
Walking through the winding and secluded path paved with cobblestones and sea rocks, you enter the courtyard. The repair of the courtyard wall also retains the simple stone-masonry style. Rocks of different sizes and shapes are piled up into artistic walls by experienced craftsmen. Under the lenses of fashionistas, the natural charm of the island fishing village comes to life, making it a popular photographing place for internet celebrities.
The courtyard greening has distinct levels. The vegetation undulates, and the color combination is soft and beautiful. The design of the courtyard flowers and plants is ingenious. Southern plants are introduced to the north, and each place has its own scenery, showing full charm.
The air is pleasant. Facing the morning sun, you can meditate or do sun-salutation yoga. With a deep courtyard and high fences, it is private and quiet. Taking a few deep breaths of the pure air makes people feel refreshed.
Rural Slow Living Homestay
Located at No. 31, Yinniuwan Tun, Yangjia Village, Dachangshan Island Town, the Rural Slow Living Homestay is adjacent to the Golden Coast Bathing Beach and the Changshan Bridge. It officially welcomed guests in May 2021. While retaining the original features of rural architecture, the Homestay skillfully integrates unique fishing culture elements of the island, such as old boat planks, fishing gear, and shells, transforming the traditional "family-style guesthouse" into a boutique Homestay full of fishing customs.
The Homestay consists of three independent courtyards named "Love & Fashion", "Idyllic", and "Moments of Time". Each courtyard can accommodate 9 to 10 guests, offering privacy and tranquility. All the courtyards follow a unified design concept-white walls, gray tiles, and wooden doors, with white, gray, and natural wood as the main colors, presenting a simple and fresh style.
In the courtyards and guest rooms, island elements such as fishing boats, fishing nets, anchors, fish traps, stoves, and cobblestones are dotted around, quietly telling the stories of the fishing families. Adhering to the concept of "environmental protection and greenness", the Homestay innovatively uses recycled old boat wood as the main decorative material. These boat planks, which have been soaked in the sea and polished by time, not only retain the natural texture and warm touch of the wood but also carry profound marine memories. Each plank has undergone professional desalination, drying, and anti-corrosion treatment, ensuring safe use while retaining the original vicissitudinous texture and narrative charm.
The Homestay offers various room types, including Chinese tatami rooms, elegant king-size bed rooms, and comfortable twin-bed rooms, meeting the different needs of couples on vacation, family gatherings, and business trips. All guest rooms are equipped with private bathrooms and branded bath products, and the quality of the linens follows the standards of star-rated hotels. The rooms are decorated with details of the traditional fishing customs of Changhai, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the simple and profound fishing culture of the local area while resting comfortably.
Saint Peth Homestay
In modern society, traveling shall no longer be equivalent to rushing and toiling, and hotels are no longer just short-term transit points or simple places to stay. Especially for hotel enthusiasts, hotels have gradually changed from the past post-houses to real destinations in their minds. More and more hotel designers are integrating delicate artistic emotions into their thinking, creating accommodation spaces that offer both immersive art experiences and excellent sleeping environments to meet the increasingly personalized pursuits of guests. That's why the Saint Peth Homestay came into being.
The Saint Peth Homestay is located in the Oriental Water City, Donggang, Dalian. It was carefully built by its founder, Mr. Zhou Jisheng, who integrated various styles based on the life aesthetics he accumulated during his years of traveling around the world.
The ten suites in the Homestay correspond to different themes and entertainment functions, covering a variety of projects such as Texas Hold'em, SPA, billiards, KTV, VR, technology experience, and private cinemas, catering to the lifestyle and social needs of young people today. Each suite is equipped with professional audio-visual equipment, allowing guests to sing freely and liven up the atmosphere with music, further promoting experiential consumption.
The furniture displayed in the rooms is carefully selected from all over the world, including international brands such as Minotti, FENDI, BENTLEY, Visionnaire, and HERMES. Different from the display items in ordinary hotels, every piece of furniture here is for sale. Therefore, even if you check into the same suite again, you may encounter a brand-new layout and atmosphere.
The hotel injects just-right warmth and enthusiasm into an environment full of design sense and cultural heritage. It stimulates inspiration and creativity with its exquisite artistic aesthetics and is committed to delivering a unique, intuitive, and warm stay experience in a friendly and natural atmosphere.
Mr. Zhou Jisheng, the founder, a native of Shanghai, always stays true to his original aspiration. He personally created a series of artworks such as oil paintings, wool paintings, and clay paintings with the charm of old Shanghai, which are carefully arranged in every corner of the hotel.
In addition, the corridors on each floor are ingeniously decorated with distinctively-styled clay doll scenes, which echo the themed suites, making it easy for guests to understand. The combination of light and architecture creates an almost perfect visual space effect.
