According to Dalian University of Technology that the International Institute of Technology between Dalian University of Technology and Queensland University of Technology, jointly applied for by Dalian University of Technology and Queensland University of Technology in Australia, has recently been officially approved for establishment by the Ministry of Education, marking a solid step for Dalian University of Technology in international education and high-level international cooperation in education.

The International Institute of Technology between Dalian University of Technology and Queensland University of Technology will be jointly built by Dalian University of Technology and Queensland University of Technology. It is a non-independent legal Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution affiliated with Dalian University of Technology and will be located on the Panjin Campus of Dalian University of Technology. In its first batch, the institute will offer three undergraduate majors: Intelligent Construction, Computer Science and Technology, and Biomedical Engineering. It will comprehensively introduce the high-quality curriculum system, teaching methods, and teaching resources of Queensland University of Technology and implement the "4+0" training model. After completing their studies, students can obtain the graduation certificate, bachelor's degree certificate of Dalian University of Technology, and the bachelor's degree certificate of Queensland University of Technology at the same time.
