Recently, a provincial tour of excellent works from the small theater plays and sketches competition for improving social customs was held at the Wafangdian Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center. Through down-to-earth cultural performances, the new civilized trend was brought to the lives of the people.

Co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, the Liaoning Provincial Office for Promoting Cultural and Ethical Progress, and the Liaoning Provincial Public Cultural Service Center, and co-organized by the Liaoning Provincial Academy of Culture and Arts, the Publicity Department of the CPC Dalian Municipal Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC Wafangdian Municipal Committee, and the Wafangdian Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, this event aims to deepen the work of improving social customs through cultural performances, vigorously promote the new trend and positive energy of the times, and continuously enhance the level of social civilization in urban and rural areas. It is a provincial-level "cultural transfer" of the new civilized trend.

The on-site shows were diverse in form and close to real life. The skit-style opera "New-style Wedding" brought by the Tieling County Troupe in Tieling City vividly demonstrated the iterative changes in marriage concepts in the new era. The sketch "Borrowing a Father" created and performed by the Anshan Art Theater conveyed the family civilization concept of advocating virtue and goodness in a light-hearted and humorous way. The sketch "Neighbors" arranged by the Shenyang Trade Union Affairs and Employee Service Center advocated a harmonious community relationship of mutual assistance through a simple yet deeply moving story about neighbors. The two-person turn "Lust, Wine, Wealth and Rage" and the musical allegro "Song of Filial Piety and Uprightness" selected by the Wafangdian Cultural Center added a strong artistic atmosphere to the whole performance.
