General aviation airports mainly provide take-off, landing, testing and operation scenarios for various aircraft, drones, electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles, etc., and are the hubs for building the low-altitude industrial ecosystem. Dalian Eurasia Helicopter Co., Ltd. relocated the completed heliport in Dongjiagou to Dengshahe as a whole to promote the construction of the Dengshahe Class B general aviation airport project. The total land area of the project is about 9.95 hectares, with a planned total investment of 550 million yuan, and it will be implemented in two phases. "As of now, the land transfer, relevant planning, construction drawing approval, project declaration and other work have been completed. The project is planned to start in mid-March this year, and it will take 8 months to complete the construction of the main projects such as the runway, hangar and supporting office building, and the general aviation function will be realized by then." It is expected that in November this year, the general aviation airport will be able to undertake the manufacturing of helicopters and drones in the whole area of Dalian and Liaoning Province, conduct scientific research test flights and low-altitude operation project flights, and support the operations of general aviation enterprises. At the same time, the airport has reserved a bearing space for electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles and can provide supporting services such as charging and hydrogenation. In addition to the infrastructure hardware support, the Dengshahe Class B general aviation airport will also be equipped with software support facilities such as the "Smart Civil Aviation Project" and the "Low-Altitude Flight Service Station" in the future to provide communication, meteorology, navigation, monitoring and other services for the low-altitude economy and general aviation industry.

At present, the network layout of the low-altitude economy in Dalian has been basically completed, and 32 application scenarios such as island logistics transportation have been implemented. "The low-altitude logistics and distribution services we participated in, including food delivery and package delivery, have been launched at Dalian Minzu University and Dalian University first." In addition, industrial projects related to the low-altitude economy, such as the R & D and manufacturing of new materials, the assembly and test flights of helicopters and drones, are also booming in Dalian.
