According to the forecast of the meteorological department, the temperature in Dalian will continue to drop starting from this afternoon. This temperature drop is a cold snap with a relatively long duration since winter in Dalian. It is expected that the temperature will drop to the lowest on the 18th, with the minimum temperature ranging from -14°C to -12°C in the southern region and from -18°C to -16°C in the northern region. In accordance with the requirements for stable heating during the temperature drop period, Dalian issued the No. 6 "Heating Early Warning and Dispatch Order" yesterday.

The dispatch order requires that during the temperature drop period from January 15th to 22nd, the heating management departments at all levels shall be on duty at the third-level. They should discover early-warning problems through the intelligent heating supervision system every 2 hours and promptly urge the enterprises to handle them. Each heating enterprise should carry out the work of temperature increase and heat storage. Starting from 0:00 on the 15th, immediately increase the temperature and store heat. Cogeneration enterprises (Clean Energy Group, Dafa Energy Branch, Huaneng Dalian Power Plant, and Guodian Power), large-scale district heating boiler houses (enterprises with a heating area of over 5 million square meters) should steadily increase the temperature of the heating network to ensure that the buildings of residents can fully store heat and smoothly get through this temperature-drop weather. They should conduct inspections and patrols, strengthen the inspections and patrols of the heating pipelines in areas with fatigued and fragile facilities and in old residential areas, promptly investigate and eliminate various hidden dangers, and ensure safe and stable operation during the temperature drop period. They should also provide good service guarantees, keep the hotline service phone open, promptly solve the heating problems reported by users, and ensure the satisfaction of the masses.

In accordance with the dispatch order, the heating management departments in each region should inspect the heating enterprises' complaint hotlines, on-duty conditions, temperature increase and heat storage, and heating operation. The Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau will conduct spot-checks on the implementation of the heating management departments in each region and the heating enterprises.
