If an insured person participates in the employee medical insurance and has surplus funds in their personal account, they can use the transfer function of the medical insurance wallet to transfer the account funds to the medical insurance wallets of their immediate relatives for medical treatment and drug purchase settlements, enabling the mutual use of medical insurance personal accounts among immediate relatives (including across provinces).

Process for opening a medical insurance wallet: Open the "National Medical Insurance Service Platform", click on "Medical Insurance Wallet" on the home page. After entering, the information indicating that the medical insurance wallet is to be activated will be displayed. Confirm the "Use Medical Insurance Wallet" interface and click on "Confirm to Use Medical Insurance Wallet" to complete the opening of the medical insurance wallet.

Medical insurance wallet transfer: On the interface before the "Medical Insurance Wallet", click on "Medical Insurance Wallet Transfer Application", fill in the basic information of the transferee. After completion, click on "Submit" and wait for the return information. After the authorizer successfully transfers the funds, the transferee can check the balance on their own medical insurance wallet interface.
