The competition venues are ready

From September 17th to 28th, Dalian will host the 2025 FISU Football World Cup. In this event, Dalian will have 24 university teams from 17 countries on five continents, including 16 men's teams and 8 women's teams. The participants include nearly 700 college athletes, referees, and officials. Among them, many participating universities such as the University of Sydney, the University of Auckland, and the University of Wollongong are ranked among the top 500 in the QS World University Rankings, highlighting the high - standard nature of the event.

According to the report that a highlight of this year's event is that the inter - university confrontation system has replaced the traditional national delegation model.
