From June 28th to 29th, the semi-finals of the tourism track of the higher vocational group of the Liaoning Provincial 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition, sponsored by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education and hosted by Dalian Vocational and Technical College, were held at the Puwan Campus of Dalian Vocational and Technical College.

The competition closely focused on the frontier trends and industrial demand of the tourism industry, attracting 82 players from 21 vocational colleges in the province to compete on the same stage. With their superb skills, the contestants fully demonstrated the outstanding style of skilled talents in the new era. The competition lasted for two days, and finally five teams were selected to represent Liaoning in the World Vocational College Skills Competition.

The relevant person in charge of Dalian Vocational and Technical College said that the hosting of this skills competition is an important practical achievement for the school to deepen the integration of production and education and promote the comprehensive education of "post course competition certificate". The school will take this competition as an opportunity to continuously optimize the talent training mode, strengthen the construction of "double-qualified" teachers, deepen the collaborative innovation between schools and enterprises, and inject new vitality into cultivating more high-quality technical and technical talents and serving local economic and social development.
