On June 29th, the exchange conference on life and health education and industrial development was held in Dalian Art Institute. At the meeting, the "Life, Health, Production and Education Alliance" initiated by Dalian Art Institute was formally established.

As a new intervention method for physical and mental health, art healing has gradually attracted social attention in recent years. Unlike traditional medicine or surgical treatment, art healing helps individuals express their emotions, soothe their body and mind, and promote recovery through art forms such as music, fine arts, gardening, and dance. The Life Industry-Education Alliance aims to promote the innovative application of art healing in the fields of health promotion, rehabilitation treatment and psychological care by integrating the resources of universities, medical institutions and industries, focusing on scientific and systematic development, promoting relevant talent training, technology research and development and clinical practice, and building a national collaboration platform for the integration of production and education. At the inauguration ceremony, representatives of 23 universities, medical institutions and enterprises, including Northeastern University, Dalian University for Nationalities, Dalian Ocean University, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Detai Holding Co., Ltd., Dalian Women and Children Medical Center (Group) and Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Dalian University, took the stage to witness.

At the event site, the School of Life and Health Industry of Dalian Art University was unveiled. With art healing as its characteristic development direction, the School of Life Industry has set up the first batch of five expert studios, namely, Horticultural Therapy and Plant Art, Garden Health and Landscape Perception, Intelligent Management of Facility Horticulture, Music Healing and Dance Healing. In the follow-up, expert studios in painting, calligraphy and other fields will be introduced one after another to build an innovative platform for interdisciplinary integration.

Experts and scholars from Dalian University of Technology, Beijing Normal University, Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Beijing Hospital, Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University and other higher education, medical institutions, agricultural gardens, home design and other fields gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions around the frontier fields of new technological revolution, medical and industrial intersection, aging-friendly design, traditional Chinese medicine agriculture, art healing and intelligent health care.
