Yesterday, Chen Shaowang, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, met with Italian ambassador to China Ambos and his party in Dalian. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy. We will thoroughly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and continue to expand exchanges and cooperation between Dalian and Italy. It is hoped that the Italian Embassy in China will give full play to its role as a bridge, promote economic, trade and scientific and technological exchanges between the two sides, and achieve more cooperation results in high-end manufacturing, high-tech, biomedicine, fashion design and production, commerce and trade and other fields.
