Yesterday, the second "Dalian Cup" science and technology competition ended successfully in Qingsong Primary School in Development Zone. More than 100 Chinese and foreign students from Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign Children's School and Dalian Korea International School competed in the same field to explore scientific mysteries together.

This competition set up five major scientific and technological projects: egg falling, bridge building activities, soap box racing, hydraulic arm and catapult launching, which tested students' scientific thinking, hands-on ability and innovative consciousness. In the egg falling project, students use their physical knowledge to design various protective devices, just to keep the eggs intact after falling at high altitude; At the bridge building activity site, students turned into little engineers and built a strong and beautiful bridge with limited materials; In the soap box racing competition, the modified soap box racing car flies on the track, and speed and creativity coexist; The hydraulic arm and catapult launch project allows students to have an in-depth understanding of mechanical principles and feel the charm of science and technology through practical operation.

This competition not only provides an exhibition platform for Chinese and foreign students, but also promotes the development of science education among young people, and promotes the exchange and integration of science and technology culture among Chinese and foreign young people.
