According to CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. (referred to as CRRC Dalian Company for short) yesterday, the publicity and implementation meeting on the elimination and renewal policy of old railway diesel locomotives in Northeast China was held in Dalian. According to the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of the Elimination and Renewal of Old Railway Diesel Locomotives", the countdown to the renewal of my country's railway equipment has entered: by the end of 2027, old diesel locomotives that have been in service in key areas such as Northeast China for more than 30 years will be completely withdrawn from the railway transportation market; By the end of 2035, old railway diesel locomotives shall basically withdraw from the railway transportation market. This meeting injected strong momentum into promoting the implementation of this management method.

This meeting was organized by Shenyang Railway Supervision Administration and CRRC Dalian Company, organized by government departments of Heilongjiang Province, Jilin Province and Liaoning Province, China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd., China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd., local railway enterprises in Northeast China, China Relevant enterprises affiliated to CRRC, Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., and representatives of universities attended the meeting. The guests at the meeting focused on policies related to promoting large-scale equipment renewal procurement subsidies, subsidy application procedures, and subsidy application work, ultra-long-term special national debt support large-scale equipment renewal subsidy policies in key areas such as transportation and industry, and the basic situation and elimination planning of old railway diesel locomotives, the application of new energy locomotives, and the scrapping and dismantling of old railway diesel locomotives were introduced one by one.

At the scene, CRRC's subsidiaries introduced the research and development results of new generation railway equipment. Among them, CRRC Dalian Company, as a leading enterprise in the development of series new energy locomotives, provides equipment support for the new energy transformation of old railway diesel locomotives with six technical directions of "digitalization, intelligence, green, modularization, lightweight and platform", forming an independent core technology system covering core technologies, key equipment, standards and specifications. The "internal combustion engine + power battery" locomotive launched by the company has achieved 45% nitrogen oxide emission reduction, 73% hydrocarbon emission reduction and 83% carbon monoxide emission reduction. After the meeting, the guests visited the series of new energy locomotives developed by CRRC Dalian Company, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the superior performance of new energy locomotives from the aspects of technological advancement, product economy, market feasibility, and convenience of use.
