Recently, Dalian Edible Oil Safety Testing Skills Competition ended in Dalian Testing Science and Technology Park. After fierce competition, 20 contestants including Miao Lei of Dalian Product Quality Inspection and Testing Research Institute Co., Ltd. won awards such as Golden Shield Testing Award, Silver Guardian Award, Copper Core Technology Award and Food Safety Testing Model Award.
This competition attracted 487 professional testing personnel from various testing institutions, food production and operation enterprises and research institutes in the city. After passing the online registration and theoretical knowledge examination in the early stage, 62 contestants entered the on-site practical competition. The competition simulates the real detection scene, focusing on the rapid identification skills of peroxide value exceeding the standard (reflecting the degree of oil oxidation) to ensure that the detection results meet the national food safety limits. According to the competition data, the test results of outstanding players in this competition are 98.7% consistent with the standard values, which realizes the powerful construction of edible oil safety defense line from the aspect of actual combat ability.
