The joint meeting of 2025 Dalian Football Super League (referred to as "Lianchao") and "Mayor's Cup" Football Championship (Junior School Group) was held in the Municipal Education Bureau a few days ago, marking that this year's "Lianchao" campus group competition is about to ignite again. Today, the junior school group league will take the lead, and other groups will start one after another. All games will end at the end of June.

This year's "Lianchao" campus league will be held at the football field of Dalian Bay Football Park, covering five groups: primary school, junior high school, senior high school, secondary vocational school and university. Among them, the four groups of primary school, junior high school, senior high school and secondary vocational school in the municipal final stage are expected to have more than 100 teams participating, the number of games will exceed 230, and the number of participants will exceed 2,000. The 27 teams participating in the junior high school group will take the lead in starting from now on, and the primary school, secondary vocational school and senior high school groups will start on May 8th, May 15th and June 16th respectively.

According to the person in charge of the organizing committee of the games, Dalian takes "Lianchao" and "Mayor's Cup" as the starting point to promote campus football, and builds a three-level campus football promotion and youth football talent training system of "popularization-selection-elite", popularizing campus football to all primary and secondary schools, ensuring that each school participates in more than 15 games every year, formulating a one-stop training program for football talents simultaneously, and improving the connection mechanism for "junior, junior and tall" football students. In addition, through the elite challenge of this competition, outstanding players will be selected to form teams to participate in provincial and national games.
