Recently, 500kg of Dalian Meizao cherries just picked from the orchard arrived in the packaging workshop of Dalian Tianli Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. After passing the inspection and quarantine by customs officers of Changxing Island, Dalian, these cherries will be exported to overseas markets by air. The reporter learned from Dalian Customs that at present, cherry varieties such as Meizao, Samidou and Huangdeng in Dalian have gradually matured, ushering in the peak export season.
According to the relevant person in charge of Dalian Tianli Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., compared with previous years, this year's cherry ripening period is about 20 days ahead of schedule, and the export price is also 30% higher. Entering the peak season of production and sales, the company exports about 500 kilograms of fresh cherries overseas every day, and it is expected that the annual export volume will increase by 40%.
In order to escort the "fresh" export of Dalian cherries, Dalian Changxing Island Customs set up a "special service class for exporting agricultural and food products", went deep into orchards to carry out policy interpretation, guided enterprises to improve the quality control system, and helped enterprises improve the technical level of screening and packaging export fruits. In addition, "full-process follow-up counseling" was launched for newly registered fruit packaging factories and orchards. Through "online + offline" three-dimensional training, nine orchards of three enterprises were helped to obtain export qualifications, and the registered area of newly exported cherry orchards was 150 mu.
Up to now this year, Dalian Changxing Island Customs has supervised the export of 77 lots of fresh cherries, totaling 21.8 tons.
