According to the press conference that as the latest requirements of the state for exhibitions and festivals, the naming of "Dalian Beer Festival" has been adjusted and officially renamed "Dalian Beer Carnival". Dalian Beer Carnival will be held for 17 days from July 18th to August 3rd, and the core area will follow the operation mode of "beer awning + beer garden + characteristic block". The surrounding area is supplemented by brand outreach, flea market, trunk market and other activities.

This year's event will jump out of the framework of the previous Oktoberfest, and change from catering and entertainment activities to a series of multi-industry integration activities. This year, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce is the lead unit of this activity for the first time. During the activity, it will join forces with the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism to introduce a large number of commercial and cultural tourism elements, including outreach activities such as automobiles, home appliances, digital, catering, cultural creation, time-honored brands, intangible cultural heritage, parents and children, lawn concerts, square light shows, Huimin Auto Show and other large-scale activities, which will make the beer carnival not only a feast for wine lovers, but also the focus of Dalian's summer national carnival.
