The new policy will help more elderly people pursue "poetry and distance", further stimulate the potential of the elderly care consumption market, and inject new momentum into promoting the development of the silver-haired economy and expanding service consumption.

At present, railway frequent passenger members can get points of 5 times of the value after purchasing tickets. The points can be exchanged for train tickets by themselves or designated transferees. When exchanging train tickets, 100 points can be used as RMB 1 yuan. The exchanged tickets can be changed once and the points are collected as the change fee, but no refund or arrival change business can be handled.

From April 1st, frequent passenger members who have reached the age of 60 will get 15 times the value points when taking passenger trains (excluding tourist trains and international trains for the time being), which is equivalent to 3 times that of ordinary frequent passengers members. That is, if they spend 1000 yuan to take the train, they will get 15,000 points, which can be used in 150 yuan when redeeming train tickets.
