It was learned from the Municipal Data Bureau that recently, the National Data Bureau announced the list of the second batch of key contact demonstration scenarios of the National Data Bureau, and the scenario of "Marine Data Helps Marine Industries such as Marine Ranching and Shipping Logistics Improve Quality and Efficiency" was successfully selected. This scenario is led by Liaoning Provincial Data Bureau, Dalian Municipal Data Bureau and Dalian Ocean University to deeply explore and apply marine data to promote the high-quality development of marine industries such as marine ranching and shipping logistics. This is the first data application scenario in our province to be selected into this list, and it is also the only case in the marine field among the 38 demonstration scenarios in the country.

Dalian has abundant marine resources and a solid marine industry foundation. In recent years, our city has thoroughly implemented the strategy of strengthening the country by sea, actively promoted the integration, sharing, development and utilization of marine data resources, and made efforts to create new advantages in the marine digital economy. The selected scenario takes Marine Information Technology Revolution 4.0 as the main direction, meets the major strategic needs of the country and Liaoning Province in the marine field, builds a full-chain standard system of "collection-storage-management" of marine data resources, gradually realizes the comprehensive collection and effective management of all kinds of marine data resources, builds and operates a marine big data management and application service platform, comprehensively enhances the driving role of data products in the integration and development of marine and digital economy, and promotes the refinement and intelligence of marine scientific data sharing services.

According to reports, our city will focus on promoting marine data-driven application scenarios in five fields. Including the field of marine fisheries: developing digital service platform technologies such as mariculture risk early warning and marine pasture production management, serving more than 100,000 fishermen every year, greatly improving the efficiency and economic benefits of marine fisheries management; In the field of marine environmental protection: develop a digital platform for offshore oil spill emergency prediction, early warning and decision support, realize the independent control of the whole chain technology of offshore oil spill from monitoring to early warning to decision support, and apply it in the national maritime system and environmental protection system; In the field of maritime transportation: develop marine-meteorological joint navigation and intelligent maritime route planning technology, and popularize and apply it in shipping companies such as Shandong COSCO Group Corporation, breaking the technological monopoly of European and American countries in this field; In the field of maritime search and rescue: develop a data-driven digital management platform for maritime search and rescue emergency, realize rapid traceability and tracking simulation technology for the location of maritime distress targets, and put it into operation in maritime rescue systems and other units; Marine energy field: Develop digital platform technology for sea ice monitoring and early warning, and provide sea ice monitoring data and prediction and early warning services for Bohai Sea oil exploration platform and Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station.

The selection into the list of key contact demonstration scenarios of the National Data Administration marks that our city's exploration and practice in the field of marine data applications have been recognized at the national level.
