Vice-Mayor：Gao Yunpeng

Biography

Gao Yunpeng, male, Mongolian ethnicity, born in October 1974 member of the Communist Party of China, undergraduate degree and Master of Laws. Gao is currently the Deputy Mayor and a member of the Party Leadership Group of Dalian Municipal People’s Government.

Responsibilities

Responsible for natural resources, housing and urban-rural development, culture and tourism, and urban management and other aspects.

In charge of the Municipal Natural Resources Bureau (Municipal Planning Bureau, Municipal Forestry Bureau), the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau, the Municipal Culture and Tourism Administration (Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau), the Municipal Urban Management Bureau (Municipal Urban Appearance and Landscape Management Bureau), and the Municipal Housing Provident Fund Management Center.

He maintains contacts with Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Municipal Federation of Social Sciences, Dalian News Media Group, the Party History Research Office of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Archives.

He maintains contacts with Taiping Bay Cooperation Innovation Zone Management Committee.

He also maintains contacts with Dalian Urban Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Dalian Cultural and Sports Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd.

In accordance with the principle of “dual responsibilities in one post” (yigang shuangze), all municipal government leaders are responsible for both their administrative duties and the Party’s integrity and anti-corruption efforts within their respective departments. They also ensure safety production, handle public complaints and social stability matters, and promote ecological and environmental protection in their areas of responsibility.
