The fourth meeting of the 14th Dalian Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will be held in the World Expo Plaza this morning.

This meeting is to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, as well as the spirit of Xi's important speeches and instructions on the revitalization and development of Northeast China, Liaoning and Dalian. A very important meeting held in the critical period of realizing the successful conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan, winning the decisive battle, comprehensively revitalizing the new breakthrough, and planning the layout of the 15th Five-Year Plan is a major event in the political life of the people of the whole city.

The main tasks of this meeting are to thoroughly study and implement Xi Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and implement the spirit of the Central, Provincial and Municipal Economic Work Conferences. Summarize the work situation since the third session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, deploy the work tasks for 2025, and win the decisive battle of the three-year new breakthrough action for comprehensive revitalization. Accelerate the high-quality development and upgrading of the "two leading areas" and contribute to the wisdom and strength of the CPPCC. The meeting will co-elect the vice-chairman and standing committee member of the 14th CPPCC Dalian Committee.
