In order to achieve the goal of Healthy China 2030, effectively improve the professional technical level and clinical practice ability of midwives in China, strengthen and support the construction of midwifery specialty, and promote the innovation and sustainable development of midwifery specialty in the future, according to the internationally recognized midwifery core competence framework, a midwifery professional ability training system is constructed in an all-round way, and a group of senior clinical practice experts in midwifery specialty are trained. Dalian Women's and Children's Medical Center (Group) actively carried out the construction of midwife clinical practice base, and successfully completed several periods of midwife training in clinical practice specialty since 2022, which won unanimous praise from trainees and their units. According to the enrollment requirements of the fourth "Specialized Midwife Training Course" of China Maternal and Child Health Association, Dalian Women and Children Medical Center (Group) is now recruiting 5-10 specialized midwives for the whole country. All units are welcome to send excellent midwives to study and exchange.

Specific requirements

Ⅰ．Training target

1. Have a nurse practice certificate

2. Hold the certificate of maternal and child health care technical assessment

3. College degree or above, nurse or above technical title, more than 5 years of midwifery clinical work experience, and has participated in the fourth "College Midwife Training Course" of China Maternal and Child Health Association.

Ⅱ. Registration method

Pay attention to the "Service Number of China Maternal and Child Health Association", enter the Conference Square, find the "Fourth Training Course for Specialized Midwives" in the conference list, and click to enter the "Conference Details" page to register. When signing up, "Dalian Women and Children Medical Center (Group)" was selected as the clinical training base. Payment methods, training arrangements and training time for entering the base shall be uniformly arranged by the Association.

Ⅲ. Registration time

Sign up from now until March 21st, 2024.

Theoretical teaching: From March 21 to April 30, 2024, the course training will be conducted by China Maternal and Child Health Association.

Practical training: From May 16 to June 15, 2024, practical training was conducted by Midwife Clinical Training Base of Dalian Women and Children Medical Center (Group).
