Dalian and the delegation of Xingshan County, Hubei Province held a symposium on counterpart support work

On November 13, a delegation from Xingshan County, Hubei Province visited the company to consolidate and expand the working mechanism of counterpart support, deepen industrial and project cooperation, and cultivate the "friendship between mountains and seas" between the two places. Yesterday, our city held a symposium on counterpart support with the delegation of Xingshan County. Chen Shaowang, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, and Wu Hao, deputy secretary of Xingshan county party committee and county magistrate, attended.

Chen Shaowang, on behalf of the municipal party committee and municipal government, and Secretary Xiong Maoping, welcomed the delegation to visit Lianlian, congratulated Xingshan County on its achievements in construction and development in recent years, and introduced the economic and social development of our city. He said that Dalian is implementing the spirit of 　 Xi's important speeches and instructions on the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China, Liaoning, and Dalian, closely fulfilling the important mission of safeguarding the country's "five major security", focusing on the "six constructions" goals and tasks, and fully implementing Liaoning's comprehensive revitalization. New breakthrough Dalian action, Accelerate the high-quality development of "two leading areas" and "three centers", strive to be the "high jump team" for the revitalization of Northeast China in the new era, and the economic and social development trend will continue to improve.

Chen Shaowang said that the people of Xingshan County's selfless dedication and hard work spirit of "giving up their families, caring for everyone and serving the country" for the Three Gorges Project are worth learning from the people of Dalian. According to the decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, Dalian began to provide counterpart support to Xingshan County in 1995. With a high sense of political responsibility and historical mission, the municipal party committee and the municipal government carried out counterpart support work in a down-to-earth manner. The two sides had close exchanges and fruitful cooperation. We will thoroughly study and implement the spirit of Xi's important instructions on deepening east-west cooperation and targeted assistance work, fully implement the spirit of the 2024 National Symposium on Cooperation on Counterpart Support to the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, and insist on taking counterpart support work as an important political task and placing it in an important position. Focusing on the main line of "the requirements of the central government, the needs of Xingshan, and what Dalian can do", we will further deepen the pragmatic cooperation between the two places in industrial docking, opening to the outside world, scientific and technological innovation, exchange of cadres and talents, integration and development of cultural and sports tourism, etc., and push counterpart support work to a higher level and higher quality.
