Tomorrow, the 2024 Winter Games will be officially launched. In order to actively respond to the cold winter weather and ensure the safe operation of public transport vehicles, since mid-October, Lu Xingli, the vehicle maintenance leader of the Third Automobile Branch of the Public Transport Group, has led team members to conduct inspections on the East China Road fleet he is responsible for. Nearly 200 buses underwent detailed and comprehensive maintenance work. Ensure that the vehicle operates safely and smoothly in the low temperature weather of "wind, snow, rain, fog and ice", and meet the challenges of winter in the best condition.

"We have done maintenance all the year round and summed up our experience, and the winter maintenance started early." Lu Xingli said that before the winter transportation, their maintenance team separately did the work of replacing gas sewage and sewage valve, replacing circuit plug wear and aging wires, replacing antifreeze, checking whether the guard plate is rusted, etc. All vehicles of Huadong Road fleet have now completed winter maintenance. "In winter, the water vapor in the bus gas path is particularly large, and the water inside needs to be discharged cleanly to avoid the gas path freezing. In terms of circuit, it is very important to tighten the wires. Because the wiring harness is at the bottom of the vehicle, it is easy to scrape the loose wires when it snows in winter. If a plug is scraped off, the vehicle will immediately report a fault code. In order to reduce the failure of vehicles running on the line, before the winter transportation, we try our best to do the work carefully and completely, so as to put an end to the failure in the bud. ”

Winter transportation is the busiest time of the year for bus maintenance. After the winter transportation starts, vehicle maintenance will be intensified, and the number of regular maintenance inspections will be increased from 2 times a month to 4 times.
