It was learned from the Dalian Station of China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that starting from November 1, 2024, my country's railway passenger transport field will promote the use of fully digital electronic invoices (railway electronic tickets). Passengers can handle domestic railway electronic ticket purchases and refunds. After the ticket change business, electronic invoices can be issued through Railway 12306 (website and mobile client), and it will be more convenient for passengers to obtain reimbursement vouchers.

It is understood that the biggest change in the implementation of electronic invoices for passengers is that it is no longer necessary to print "railway tickets (paper reimbursement vouchers)" at railway stations, ticket sales outlets and self-service machines; For units, financial personnel can carry out paperless reimbursement, accounting, filing, storage and other businesses based on electronic invoices to improve work efficiency. In addition, with the substantial reduction of the use of railway paper tickets, the costs of ticket printing and terminal self-service machine maintenance of railway transport enterprises will also be greatly reduced.

At the end of the trip or after paying the refund and change fee, passengers can obtain electronic invoices through the website of Railway 12306 and mobile client, and inquire, download and print them. If the invoice information is wrong, or the itinerary is changed due to the suspension of transportation service, you can re-apply for issuing a new electronic invoice within 180 days according to the accurate information or actual itinerary, and the original electronic invoice will be invalid; Units can inquire, check, download, print and confirm the use of electronic invoices through tax digital accounts, or check them through the national VAT invoice inspection platform.

After railway transportation enterprises issue electronic invoices for passengers, they no longer provide paper reimbursement vouchers, and passengers cannot issue electronic invoices and paper reimbursement vouchers at the same time; Cross-border passenger transport business continues to use the current railway reimbursement voucher.
