On May 18th, Dalian International Conference Center was full of talents, and the 2023 Dalian Science and Technology Innovation Conference and Science and Technology Activity Week was grandly kicked off here. The main venue has successively held activities such as the promotion of scientific and technological resources, the release of scientific and technological policies, the fulfillment of scientific and technological funds, the award of scientific and technological talents, the start-up of Dalian Laboratory, the centralized signing of projects and the opening of Science and Technology Activity Week. Thirteen promotion conferences on transformation of scientific and technological achievements and theme investment promotion in the sub-venue made wonderful appearances. During the conference, field visits to four key industrial parks, including High-tech Zone, Jinpu New District, Ganjingzi District and Changxing Island Economic Zone, were also held.

At the meeting, 10 science and technology policy incentive funds, such as "double first-class" construction supporting funds of Dalian University of Technology, Liaoning Binhai Laboratory subsidy funds and Liaoning Huanghai Laboratory subsidy funds, were fulfilled. In 2022, there were 49 science and technology awards in Dalian, including 6 technological invention awards and 43 scientific and technological progress awards.

At the meeting, 12 science and technology platform projects were signed with a total amount of 995 million yuan. Twelve science and technology industry projects were signed, involving artificial intelligence and new generation information technology, intelligent manufacturing, clean energy, chemical industry and new materials, life and health and other fields, with a total project amount of 4.535 billion yuan. Dalian Jinshiwan Laboratory and Dalian Lingshuiwan Laboratory were officially awarded and started.
