Recently, the second phase project of Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park in Dalian Free Trade Zone (Free Trade Zone) started construction. Relying on the construction of hydrogen energy industrial park, Dalian Free Trade Zone has accelerated the building of an advanced equipment industrial cluster focusing on fuel cells and core components, hydrogen energy equipment such as hydrogen production, storage and hydrogenation, hydrogen energy vehicles and distributed power sources. Strive to achieve the output value of hydrogen energy industry exceeding 10 billion yuan by 2025, and help Dalian build an innovation source and high-end equipment manufacturing base of China's hydrogen energy industry.

 

Dalian Free Trade Zone (Free Trade Zone) Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park is located in Ershilibao Street, covering an area of 1 square kilometer. It focuses on the production, storage, transportation, processing and use of hydrogen energy industry, actively introduces hydrogen energy enterprises, and strives to build a highland for the development of hydrogen energy industry with complete industrial chain. At present, Sinopec Haiming Road Comprehensive Energy Station in the first phase of the project has been completed and put into use, which is the second comprehensive energy station of "oil, gas, hydrogen and electricity service" built by Sinopec in China; The first phase of Chuangwei Hydrogen Traction Motor Project has entered the commissioning and production stage in early August; Projects such as Carbon Neutralization Demonstration Center, Hydrogen Energy Product R&D and Test Center and Boao Precision Hydrogen Energy Engine Parts also started construction in the first half of this year.

 

The second phase of the project started this time includes two major projects: Guochuang Hydrogen Fuel Cell and Mingyuan Technology Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powertrain. Guochuang Hydrogen Fuel Cell Project is jointly invested and constructed by Guochuang Fund under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and Dalian Institute of Chemical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a total investment of 320 million yuan and an area of 40,000 square meters. It mainly carries out research and development, production, technological achievements transformation and authorization of hydrogen fuel cell stacks, systems and core components, with an estimated annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan. As the "national team" of hydrogen energy industry, Guochuang Hydrogen Energy Project will bring various superior resources such as technology, capital and talents to the development of hydrogen energy industry in Dalian, and play an important leading role in cultivating and expanding hydrogen energy industry clusters. Mingyuan Technology Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powertrain Project is invested and constructed by Liaoning Specialized and Special Enterprise, Dalian Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Promotion Association President Unit and Dalian Hydrogen Energy Industry Comprehensive Utilization Demonstration Project Unit Mingyuan Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 350 million yuan and an area of 45,000 square meters, it is mainly engaged in research and development and production of fuel cell engine assemblies, proton exchange membranes, bipolar plates and other materials, with an estimated annual output value of 3 billion yuan.

 

As an important bearing place for the development of hydrogen energy industry in Dalian, Dalian Free Trade Zone has initially formed a development pattern of hydrogen energy industry with reasonable industrial layout, complete industrial chain, rich application scenarios, scientific and technological research and development and gathering of human resources, obvious industrial policy advantages and outstanding institutional innovation advantages. In the next step, Dalian Free Trade Zone will speed up the introduction and cultivation of more sophisticated enterprises and "invisible champions" in the field of hydrogen energy, and make every effort to build a highland of hydrogen energy industry with the best comprehensive supporting facilities.
