Vice-Mayor：Li Damin

Biography

Li Damin, male, Han nationality, born in June 1972, is a member of the Communist Party of China, in-service postgraduate degree, master of business administration. Li is now vice mayor of Dalian Municipal People's Government, member of the party group.

Responsibilities

Responsible for education, science and technology, culture and tourism, health, sports and medical security. 

Supervises the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau (Municipal Foreign Experts Bureau), the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau (Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau), the Municipal Health Commission (Municipal Disease Control and Prevention Bureau), the Municipal Sports Bureau, the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, the Municipal Red Cross Society, Dalian University, and Dalian Vocational and Technical College (Dalian Open University).

Liaises with the Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Municipal Women's Federation, the Municipal Science and Technology Association, the Municipal Literary and Art Federation, the Municipal Social Science Federation, Dalian News Media Group, the Municipal Party Committee's History Research Office, the Municipal Archives, research institutes, and provincial and ministerial universities located in Dalian.

Liaises with Dalian Cultural and Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., Dalian Yinggeshi Science and Technology Industry Development Co., Ltd., and Dalian Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd.

The leading comrades of the municipal government fulfill the "double duties for one position", be responsible for (supervising) the construction of the party's work style and clean government building of the units, and make great efforts to safety production, maintaining stability of letters and visits, and ecological environment.
