Recently, the IV1 project of Dalian Zhuanghe Offshore Wind Power Site officially started in Zhuanghe, marking that the offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity in northern China has entered a comprehensive construction stage. The implementation of this project will effectively promote the transformation and upgrading of Zhuanghe and even the national energy structure, and make positive contributions to the realization of China's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

Dalian Zhuanghe Offshore Wind Power Site IV1 Project is located in the east sea area of Shicheng Island, Zhuanghe City, with an installed capacity of 350 MW and a total investment of 5.96 billion yuan. It is planned to install 25 6.2 MW wind turbines and 26 7.5 MW wind turbines, and build a 220 kV offshore booster station with an upper module steel structure weighing over 3,900 tons.

IV1 project is another large-scale offshore wind power project implemented by China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Bureau in Zhuanghe after Dalian Zhuanghe Offshore Wind Power Site II (300 MW) offshore wind power project, and it is also the first offshore wind power EPC general contracting project of China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Bureau. The geological conditions around the site are complex, the dissolution in the stratum is strong, and there is karst drilling phenomenon. At the same time, it is necessary to overcome the influence of low temperature and current ice, which makes the construction extremely difficult. The construction period of offshore wind power projects of the same scale and conditions usually takes more than 18 months, and China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Bureau strives to realize full-capacity grid-connected power generation of the project before the end of this year.
