At 6:50, May 13, 2018, the 31^st 'ICBC' Dalian International Marathon for the disabled wheelchair group kicked off in International Convention Center, Donggang business area, which was mainly hosted by Chinese Athletics Association and Dalian People's Government, and jointly organized by Dalian Sports Bureau and Dalian Disabled Persons' Federation.

It continued to adopt the grouping method in last year to set 6 events, including men's full wheelchair marathon, men's half wheelchair marathon, women's half wheelchair marathon, mini marathon for the blind, mini marathon for the deaf and mini marathon for the physically disabled with wheelchair.

25 athletes presenting 5 provinces and cities in wheelchair group, including 4 athletes from Shanghai, 5 athletes from Guangzhou, 2 athletes from Hebei, 8 athletes from Liaoning and 6 athletes from Dalian, attended the match. The mini running events including poor eyesight, hearing and physically disabled groups was organized by Dalian Blind Association, Association of the Deaf, Association for the Physically Disabled. Over 160 athletes attended the match.
