Tianjin Commercial Street is one of the earliest and the most prosperous commercial streets in Dalian.  It is about 1000 meters long, starting from Dalian Railway Station and Victory Square Shopping Centre in the west to Renmin Road in the east. With the opening of the Victory Square Shopping Centre, the establishment of a financial centre at Zhongshan Square, and a cultural and entertainment centre at Friendship Square, Tianjin Commercial Street has become a busy commercial center, accelerating the development of the business groups along Shanghai Road, Friendship Road, Minsheng Street, Xiuzhu Street and the eastern end of Changjiang Road. There are many famous old shops, hotels and restaurants: Dalian Qunyinglou Restaurant, Dalian Landscape House, Suyang Restaurant, Dalian Department Store, Kyushu Ramada Hotel and Bohai Pearl Hotel, and many new places: Dalian Shuolin Antique Art Square, New World Department Store, theaters and cinemas, dancing halls, bookstores and 560 other kinds of shops and stores, with about 300,000 visitor flow volume a day.
