May 18^th is the International Museum Day, and this year's theme is: the museum is committed to a sustainable developing society. In order to match this theme, Lushun Museum and Exhibition Hall of the Site of Lushun Prison carry out varieties of commemoration.

From May 15^th, Lushun Museum launched the special exhibition of 'history class of middle school'. The contents of the exhibition based on the knowledge of Chinese ancient history in the two volumes of the history textbook of seventh grade, corresponding to the display of artifacts of the museum's collection. In order to make the theme clearer, education staff in the museum sorts out a number of themes from the history textbook of seventh grade, and displays one theme each year. This year, the theme is 'production and life of the ancients'.

The textbooks used in the exhibition are used books of middle school students, on which there are traces left by students in learning and using textbooks. When visiting the exhibition, the students can compare the knowledge of the book with the real cultural relics and deepen the perceptual knowledge of history.

To let more people know about the museum and step into the museum, and to let the cultural achievement gather more people together, Exhibition Hall of the Site of Lushun Prison answers questions for the puzzled audience through hanging banners, printing publicity materials, and establishing 'expert consultation service station' and other forms.
