Dalian Bus Group fully prepared for transportation work during Tomb Sweeping Day

During Tomb Sweeping Day this year, Dalian Bus Group departed 3885 times per day, an increase of 0.95% compared with the same period of last year. The average of daily distance reached 472.4 thousand kilometers, an increase of 1.83% compared with the same period of last year. The average daily transfer passengers reached 2180.7 thousand people, an increase of 2.07% compared with the same period of last year.


In order to fully prepare for transportation work during Tomb Sweeping Day, Dalian Bus Group considered the characteristics of the tracks and passenger flow and opened the temporary lines including Liujiaqiao Bus Station to Qiaoshan Cemetery, Beigangqiao Bus Station to Qiaoshan Cemetery, and Beigangqiao Bus Station to Yuhuangding. According to different conditions of the passenger flow around cemeteries during Tomb Sweeping Day, in order to make it convenient for citizens to hold memorial ceremonies in Zhongshan District Memorial Park, Lianhuashan Cemetery, Longshan Cemetery, Qiaoshan Cemetery, Taishan Cemetery, funeral parlours and Jinhaoshan Cemetery, Dalian Bus Group added inter-zonal vehicles in seven lines, including No. 5, No. 10, No. 30, No. 32, No. 507, No. 703 and No. 712 buses.


On April 2, Taidahuigu of Golden Dragon Temple held a “Colorful Windmill Festival”. Many families participated in the activities, which made the passenger flow surge in No. 906 bus. In order to deal with the emergency, Dalian Bus Group initiated an emergency plan to organize excellent drivers for forwarding operations. 36 emergency transport vehicles were put into use and 5000 passengers were transported. More than 20 managers were organized to maintain transport order and  won praise from the citizens.


During the festival, all of the operating units strictly implemented vehicles scheduling plan and provided high quality services. More than 430 managers helped maintain transport order to make sure that the citizens can take buses orderly and meet their traveling requirements. The hot line in customer service center was kept available each day to answer the passengers’ consultation. Under the efforts of all cadres and staff, Dalian Bus Group fully completed transportation work during Tomb Sweeping Day.
