China Southern Airlines will open the nine-hour route from Guangzhou to Adelaide on December 12, 2016, which marks the first flight from Guangzhou, mainland China to Adelaide. Till then, the routes of China Southern Airlines will cover 5 Australian states with 45 weekly one-way flights and 56 in peak season.
The nine-hour flight from Guangzhou to Adelaide, will use theA330-200 wide-bodied aircraft, with 216 seats in total including 4 first-class cabins, 24 business class seats and 188 economy class seats.
