Statistics on Citizens Living on Subsistence Allowance in Jinpu New District

As of December, 2017, 5547 families or 7343 persons live on subsistence allowance in Jinpu New District. Among the 5547 families, 2819 families or 3492 persons are registered as urban citizens, accounting for 0.63%; 2728 families or 3851 persons are registered as rural citizens, accounting for 1.75%.

  As of December, 2017, Jinpu New District has accumulatively distributed RMB 50254824 as subsistence allowances, including RMB 27656200 for urban families (averaging RMB 616.71 per person every month) and RMB 22598624 for rural families (averaging RMB 450.63 per person every month). 

  I. Brief introduction to dynamic management of families living on subsistence allowance

  1. Number of urban citizens living on subsistence allowance falls as compared with November: 7 persons begin to receive subsistence allowance in December; 51 persons quit receiving subsistence allowance in December – a net decrease by 44 persons.

  2. Number of rural citizens living on subsistence allowance falls as compared with November: 5 persons begin to receive subsistence allowance in December; 38 persons quit receiving subsistence allowance in December– a net decrease by 33 persons.

  Summary: As of December, 77 persons quit receiving subsistence allowances – a net decrease by 1.04% as compared with November.

  II. Composition of citizens living on subsistence allowance

  1. Urban citizens

Classified by age, 1286 persons are below the age of 60, accounting for 37.15%; 1870 persons are between the age of 18 and 60, accounting for 54.02%; 306 persons are below the age of 18, accounting for 8.84%.

Note: Among the 1870 middle-aged persons receiving subsistence allowance, 13 persons have jobs, accounting for 0.38%; 212 persons are flexibly employed personnel, accounting for 6.12%; 610 persons are registered unemployed personnel, accounting for 17.62%; 1035 persons are unregistered unemployed personnel, accounting for 29.89%; 306 persons are below the age of 18, accounting for 8.84%.

2. Rural citizens

Classified by age, 1355 persons are below the age of 60, accounting for 35.19%; 3463 persons are between the age of 18 and 60, accounting for 94.60%; 326 persons are students receiving 9-year compulsory education or studying at professional schools or colleges and preschool children, accounting for 8.46%.

Note: Among the 326 students and preschool children living on subsistence allowance, 294 persons are students receiving 9-year compulsory education or studying at professional schools or colleges, accounting for 7.63%; 32 persons are pre-school children, accounting for 0.83%.
