Tan Chengxu met Neil Bush, the Chairman of the US-China Bush Foundation
On May 26, mayor Tan Chengxu met Neil Bush, Chairman of the US-China Bush Foundation, in the VIP room of the municipal government. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation in education and medical care. Yi Qingtao, secretary general of the People's Government of Dalian, attended the meeting.
Tan Chengxu welcomed Neil Bush's visit and introduced the city's economic and social development to the guests. He said that it was the general trend to open up and cooperate for a win-win situation. Dalian was one of the cities with the earliest opening to the outside world and the highest maturity of foreign trade cooperation in China. 18,000 foreign-funded enterprises had successively invested and developed in here, therefore, Dalian was a vibrant place for innovation and creation.
Tan Chengxu hoped that Neil Bush would promote more US companies to invest in Dalian and actively integrate into Dalian's reform, opening up and high-quality development. Dalian municipal governments at all levels would stick to the spirit of contract, create a cooperative atmosphere of honesty and trustworthiness and win-win development, and provide quality services and create a good environment for investment enterprises in Dalian with a more open concept and a more pragmatic style.
Neil Bush spoke highly of Dalian's business environment and said that he would actively promote practical cooperation with relevant parties in Dalian in education, medical care and other fields to achieve mutual benefit and win-win.
