New Energy Power Generation Accounts for nearly 60% of the City's Regulated Industrial Power Generation

According to Dalian Municipal Bureau of Statistics, since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the development of new energy industry has been an important part of Dalian's energy supply-side reform. New energy power generation has greatly exceeded traditional thermal power generation and occupies an important position in Dalian's power structure.

 

According to statistics, from January to May this year, new energy power generation reached 13.36 billion kilowatt hours, accounting for 59.7% of the city's regulated industrial power generation, up 5.6% year-on-year, and the city's regulated industrial power generation increased by 3.5 percentage points. Among them, nuclear power generation reached 12.57 billion kilowatt hours, accounting for 56.2% of the city's regulated industrial power generation, up 3.7% year-on-year, and pulled up the city's regulated industrial power generation by 2.2 percentage points. Wind power generation was 690 million kilowatt hours, accounting for 3.1% of the city's regulated industrial power generation, up 59.8% year-on-year, and the city's regulated industrial power generation increased by 1.3 percentage points. Solar power generation reached 100 million kilowatt hours, accounting for 0.4% of the city's regulated industrial power generation, down 0.1% year on year.
