Project Signing Ceremony Held in 20th Chinese Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Week

On July 6, the signing ceremony of the 20th Chinese Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Week was held in Dalian World Expo Plaza. Twenty-three projects have been signed collectively, with a contracted amount of 1.5 billion yuan. Tan Chengxu, deputy secretary of CPC Committee of Dalian and mayor, attended the signing ceremony. Zeng Bo,memberof theStanding Committeeof DalianMunicipal Party Committee,Secretaryof thePartyWorkingCommitteeof Dalian High-tech Zone, and Director of the ManagementCommittee, Zhang Zhihong, Jin Guowei, deputy mayors, Yi Qingtao, secretary general of the People's Government of Dalian and others attended and witnessed the signing of the contract.


The 23 projects signed this time mainly include Dalian Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Project, Israel Perflow Medical Devices Project, Overseas Huasheng Electronic Technology Project, China-Israel Semiconductor Industry Fund Project, Qiniuyun "Intelligent Video Cloud Innovation Center" Accelerator Project, Development and Application of Intelligent Robot System Project, Independent and Controllable High-end Industrial Simulation Software and Digital Innovation Platform Project, Artificial Intelligent Vehicle Network Security System Project and Overseas Strategic Cooperation Project of Chinese Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Week. Six of them are from Japan, Israel, Canada, Britain and the United States. Seventeen are domestic projects, respectively from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hainan and other places. These projects mainly involve several hot industrial fields such as integrated circuits, life science, intelligent technology, digital literacy and technology and finance.


It is reported that during this Chinese Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Week, the Organizing Committee focused on 228 projects and participated in 27 on-site roadshows. The quality and maturity of the projects were very high. Among them, there are 99 intelligent technologies, 25 clean energy projects, 33 new generation information technologies and 29 life science projects. Nearly 1/3 of the projects have reached the international and domestic leading level, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence, where a number of excellent projects have been concentrated and are favored by all parties' investment capital.


More than 60 overseas students from 12 countries and regions and more than 60 representatives from scientific research institutes, institutions of higher education, domestic and foreign financial investment institutions, enterprises and institutions attended the signing ceremony.
