Lushunkou District CPPCC held the 8th Session of the Twenty-Second Standing Committee

On November 9, Lushunkou District People’s Political Consultative Conference held the 8th Session of the Twenty-Second Standing Committee. Guo Jing, deputy secretary of Lushunkou District CPPCC and vice chairman, and Vice Chairman Wang Yan, Cong Xia and Du Furong attended the meeting. Cong Xia presided over the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and adopted the decision of the First Meeting of the Ninth Committee of the Lushunkou District CPPCC in the manner of a show of hands, and examined and approved the list of members of the Ninth Committee of the District Political Consultative Conference.

Guo Jing emphasized in her speech that the primary political task for the current and future period is to study and implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress. All the members of the Standing Committee of the Political Consultative Conference of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) should play a leading role in deepening the study and implementing the decisions and arrangements of the 19th CPC National Congress, and learn hard to accurately grasp the essence of spirit and consolidate the foundation of performing duties. Efforts should also be made to make propaganda so that the spirit of the Party's Nineteenth Congress can really be deepened in the hearts of members. The new strategy and new idea, combined with ongoing large-scale study and discussion in the whole district, should be learned to contribute to the wisdom and power of the CPPCC for the development of the Lushun green economic zone.

Guo Jing pointed out that we were arriving at the final stage of the general election. All preparatory groups should make every effort to revise and perfect the working report of the committee and well organize the proposal collection conference with a high degree of political awareness and a strong sense of the overall situation. Members of the Standing Committee should act responsibly and fulfill their duties to ensure smooth and successful completion of the general election.
