Recently, the national education supervision and inspection group released the inspection results of county-wide compulsory educational balance, showing that Dalian high-tech zone has reached the standard for city-and county-level national compulsory educational balance. Up to now, 14 districts and counties in Dalian have all passed the national inspection, which marks Dalian’s realization of county-wide balance in compulsory education.
In order to implement the Compulsory Education Law and guarantee the realization of the goal of balanced development of compulsory education put forward in the Outline of National Medium-and Long-Term Program for Education Reform and Development, the Ministry of Education has started the assessment for county-wide compulsory educational balance since 2012. The assessment for balance in compulsory education was conducted when compulsory education schools has reached the provincial standards. It mainly consisted of evaluation on city-wide balanced development of inter-schools and the development of compulsory education promoted by county government. The public satisfaction for the balanced development of compulsory education in the county will be taken as an important reference.
Since 2012, districts, counties and pilot zones in Dalian have been promoting the balanced development of compulsory education with Zhongshan district, Xigang district, Shahekou district, Ganjingzi district, Jinzhou district passing the national assessment in 2013, Lushunkou district in 2014, Changxingdao economic zone, Huayuankou economy district and Changhai county in 2015, Pulandian District, Wafangdian city, Zhuanghe city, and Bonded Area in 2016, and High-Tech Zone in 2017. Till now, 14 districts and counties in Dalian have all passed the national inspection, which marks Dalian’s realization of county-wide balance in compulsory education.
