The activity was organized by the district overseas Chinese affairs office and co-organized by Ganjingzi District grass-root committee and Anzishan village committee. The Chinese overseas people with caring heart sent such living goods as rice, flour, oil, quilt, eggs and health care products to the old people. Volunteers performed wonderful programs. Old people participating in the activity were full of energy and actively interacted with players.

Deputy Inspector Huang Xiaoqing said that Ganjingzi District service center officially established in Jan. 2016 in Gezhenpu Street Sun Nursing Base was the first district-level overseas Chinese service center. The overseas Chinese mutual benefit project, a brand of the municipal overseas Chinese affair office, aims to integrate resources from overseas Chinese to help overseas Chinese people in need. Over the past year, Ganjingzi District Overseas Chinese Affairs Office grouped volunteers and needy old people into pairs for one-to-one support. Guan Zhanlong made the following requirements for the district overseas Chinese affairs office in his speech to make full use of the activity and the service base. First is to accept the guidance of upper level and introduce excellent overseas resources into the district. Second is to establish improved work system to ensure standard technical specification for the formulation, execution and evaluation of work plans. Third is to make overall plans and reasonable arrangements. Given the unbalance in overseas resources, goods, materials and human resources should be allocated to the base so as to better serve the old people.
