Yesterday, the Ninth Global Cold Chain Summit and Sino-US Cold Chain Logistics Conference opens in Dalian. The conference focused on the theme "to bring global forces together to build a cold chain eco-circle", arranging four forums. 50 speakers analyzed industry changes, impacts and trends in 15 keynote speeches and 6 interviews. Vice Mayor Hao Ming attended the summit and delivered the opening speech.
Global Cold Chain Summit ("GCCS" for abbreviation), known as the "cold chain Davos", is the world's most industry-leading cold chain event. The previous summits covered valuable information in the industry such as policy standards, global cold chain pattern, food import and export, cold chain transport management, planning, design and operation of cold storage, and analysis of China's Top 100 cold chain companies, drawing much attention of the industry.
Hao Ming said that Dalian is committed to implementing “The Belt and Road Initiative”, a new round of “Revitalization of Northeast China”, construction of “Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone” and other major strategies. Dalian will make full use of the cooperation with Shanghai, continue to support the development of logistics business and cold chain industry, back up the summit as before, and make greater contributions to accelerate the development and upgrading of logistics industry.
