Lushunkou District made arrangements for summer moratorium of marine fishing

Recently, Lushunkou District held a meeting to make arrangements for summer moratorium of marine fishing in 2017.
The meeting reviewed and summarized the summer moratorium of marine fishing in 2016, carefully analyzed the serious situation in 2017; distributed and issued the 2017 Implementation Plan for the Management of Summer Moratorium of Marine Fishing of Lushunkou District, which defines the starting and ending points of the moratorium, key missions, measures and responsibilities.
The meeting requires that efforts should be made to put the leadership and accountability in place, implement the moratorium of marine fishing, work harder to spread the information and strive for creating an amiable working atmosphere. Besides, due efforts should also be made to properly manage and supervise the port of registry, intensify the efforts of joint law enforcement, punish harder on unlawful acts, take the opportunity of summer moratorium of marine fishing to eliminate unqualified fishing boats and illegal nets and put an end to the cross-border fishing.
