The breeding and releasing of prawns in Lushunkou District 2015 was brought to a successful close


The breeding and releasing of prawns 2015 in Lushunkou District has been brought to a close recently. The Marine and Fishery Bureau of Lushunkou District conducted breeding and releasing work in the seas of Sanjianpu Street and Beihai Street respectively, releasing 135 million prawns with an average body length of 1.2 centimeter, increasing the conservation quantity of Chinese prawns in the jurisdiction sea areas.These Chinese prawns are predicted to be harvested in September this year which will promote local fishermen’s increment and play an important role in achieving sustainable development of fishery economy in Lushunkou District.
