The first Dalian China Cherry Fair starts

Yesterday morning, the first Dalian China Cherry Fair was started in the Qidingshan Street in Jinpu New District. 800 kg first-class cherries were sent directly to Hongkong and Macao. Wang Qiang, standing member of the municipal committee and Party secretary of Jinpu New District attended the ceremony and unveiled plaque for the “Dalian China Cherry Trading Center”.


At the launching ceremony, the Dalian China Cherry Trading Center has signed cooperation agreements with representatives of buyers and logistics dealers from all over China. Up to now, 65 foreign business platforms, over 300 online operators such as Taobao, Jingdong and WeChat and 30 off-line enterprises have reached agreements with Jinpu New District. It is predicated by experts that the cherry trading volume can reach 10,000 tons. Qi Dingsha Street in Jinpu New District cooperates with Dalian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Dalian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau issues registration certificate for Hailin Ecological Park and Limeiyuan Ecological Park. Qualified cherry after inspection and quarantine can be sent directly to Hong Kong and Macao, thus realizing the docking between Dalian Cherry and international food standards. People from the Municipal Agricultural Commission said that Dalian was to promote Dalian cherry to international markets through Hong Kong.
